As part of our European sales team your main priority will be to hunt for new clients and develop our Transwide TMS software (Transportation Management Systems) client base in West Central Germany. You will work from your home office and travel frequently within your sales territory and to our headquarters located in Brussels, Belgium. You will report to our Sales Director.
Your role
  • Develop and execute an effective field sales strategy & plan and build a strong pipeline through prospecting and lead generation.
  • Understand target clients' business needs, perform product demonstrations, develop proposals,
  • ROI exercises and articulate our value proposition through all steps of the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with our product, customer service and operations teams to ensure deployments are successful with a high level of client satisfaction, whilst ensuring an excellent transfer of client and market knowledge.
  • Develop potential partnerships (e.g. specific product partnership, horizontal collaboration, partnerships with federations and associations).
  • Analyze and assess potential indirect / alternative sales channels (e.g. distributors)
  • Propose a product evolution to increase our USP in this market.
Required skills
  • Master Degree followed by 5+ years' successful TMS software sales experience and a strong network of transport & logistics professionals within Germany.
  • As a master in consultative selling, you are used to analyzing complex requirements, tailoring answers to customer needs, advising on business case development and managing the RFI/RFP process and negotiating offers independently.
  • German (native level) and English (fluent).
  • Proven ability to negotiate at C-level.
  • You are highly organized, with strong analytical- and problem-solving skills.
  • You thrive in a dynamic fast-paced and changing environment.
  • You have a real entrepreneurial mindset, you are self-driven, passionate and you love to work independently, whilst being a strong team player.
